QMN Owner Lisa Schott, and her husband George have been named as the 2024 Outstanding Philanthropists by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Central Florida Chapter. Their dedication to providing scholarships for higher education and life-changing assistance for children with chronic and serious illnesses, through many non-profit organizations, will be recognized on Friday, November 15, 2024 at the National Philanthropy Day celebration at Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Florida.

On April 2, 2024, QMN celebrated its 22 year history of providing acoustical consulting to a wide range of clients.

Quietly Making Noise, LLC was formed on April 2, 2002 and is celebrating its 21st anniversary! The company provides expert advice in acoustics and noise control to a diverse range of clients nationwide.

Quietly Making Noise was featured in the Miracles and Memories newsletter, published by Give Kids The World in December 2020. Read about the pro bono acoustical consulting work and volunteering performed since 1991 (30 years!) for this amazing charity.

Quietly Making Noise, LLC participated on the acoustics design team for over fourteen years to help in the creation of the award-winning Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. We are very proud of this local project which has transformed downtown Orlando.  QMN now enjoys shows in all of the fabulous theaters and other venues. What a great mix of business and pleasure!

Quietly Making Noise, LLC is entering its thirteenth calendar year of working on the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. We are very proud of this local project which has transformed downtown Orlando. Construction continues on the second phase of the project. QMN regularly visits the project construction site to check on acoustical details and we also regularly enjoy shows in the Phase 1 theaters. What a great mix of business and pleasure!

In November 2020, the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation hosted a virtual Entrepreneur Showcase, featuring the Foundation’s American Dream Makers program and 10 Astronaut Scholar alumni who own businesses or are in the process of starting new ventures. QMN’s President Lisa Schott participated as a panelist in a virtual event hosted by Kineticos, entitled “Impact of the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation on the Life Sciences Industry”. Kineticos is a specialized management consulting firm serving the life science industry. The firm is focused on identifying opportunities to drive strategic growth and achieve operational excellence for its clients globally, primarily in Biopharmaceuticals and Precision Medicine & Diagnostics. Schott performs acoustical consulting services for the health care industry and is active as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation.
