Health Care Facilities Project Experience

Sarasota Memorial Hospital
Quietly Making Noise, LLC (QMN) has provided acoustical consulting services for many health care facility projects, including new large scale hospitals and clinics, hospital expansions, renovations, central energy plants, medical office buildings, and assisted living facilities. Principal Acoustical Consultant Lisa Schott brings a unique range of experience in design, construction, testing, and troubleshooting to create innovative solutions for challenging noise and vibration issues in health care facilities.

QMN is familiar with and regularly designs projects to meet the latest regulatory requirements and guidelines for health care acoustical design, including the 2010 Facility Guidelines Institute (FGI) Guidelines for Design and Construction of Health Care Facilities, the Green Guide for Health Care, and U.S. military and Department of Veterans Affairs health care facility specifications.

Following is a list of some projects that have been completed or are currently in progress. We work closely with the client to design multiple noise mitigation options that the architect, builder, and facility operator can agree upon, considering cost, constructability, schedule, aesthetics, and other considerations.
